I Am Not Dead Yet

Darling Family and friends, tis I,
Hey guys, sorry for the radio silence I just had a ton of stuff happen, just wow, it has been bonkers :) Anyhow I hope you are all doing really well, Paraguay is, amazing, crazy hot, and just down right awesome, as of right now I am planning on never leaving (sorry mom, and dad). Things that have happened to catch everyone up, we had a wonderful Christmas, it was really weird to be in a place where it is really hot, and really the 25 is a day to relax, here the 24th at midnight there are a bunch of fireworks and screaming and people hugging and kissing and just having fun....I only heard the firework part but I am told that everything else happens too :) I got this really cool blanket fro my companion, really pretty crochet, and a jersey from the club Cerro!!!!!  Also my companion made me a cool soap craving of my initials and my trainer gave me a snow globe of Santa Clause :) Good times, also around Christmas we puppy came to our house, and I may of fed it a pancake...so he stuck around for a few days, and I named him Reese...he was very cute. Other stuff, it rained and I was in water up to my knees trying to get back to our house, it was a ton of fun :) after that my comps shoe came off and started floating away, so I chased it in the water.... it was fun, and I just got a little wet (more like soaked :) ) other stuff, we have the coolest investigator ever, she is amazing, Mirna, she has two little girls and is a beast. Really, she is so cool, I can not stress that enough. This past week she came to church and with everything, when we are teaching her, she really gets why it is important to go, that and her girls are really funny, during all of sacrament meeting they were just having a ton of fun laughing and yes while irreverent, they really seemed to enjoy themselves :) Anyhow, today we rare going to have a family home thingie (forgot how to spell that last word...sorry) and the Hermana is going to teach how to make Lomitos (yes, food of the gods, wonderful glorious Lomitos, I am beyond excited) but yes, this is the life, walking the hot street old Paraguay spreading the gospel, really hard work but I am loving it!!!!!! Have a wonderful week ,and hey remember who you are!!!! or as my sister Kaia likes to say ¨Have a good time
don´t be a good time¨
Love you guys,
read the book of Mormon, before conference, pretty please,
Love ,
Hermana Douglas
