Connect Four and Changes

Hey guys,

So I am sure all of you are wondering how changes went... Well I am pleased to tell you that I am still in Santani with the wonderful Hermana Mendoza!!! I am so excited!!! Down-side we lost Elder Bridge with the change, but Elder Pariona is training, so we received a newbie this week, which was interesting because I was in those same shoes four changes ago... time flies.

Stuff for this week, my companion and I both had colds.... word to the wise, if you have the choice to be sick, or not, never choose to be sick it is the worst!!! Somehow, in the mission it is 10X harder, I kept waking up the other night, because I could not breath, my comp, was really worried about me. But hey, I am doing much better now!!! I bought connect four, checkers and chess this past week, and it has been a blast, my companion and the ward loved connect four, which is funny to see. While it is a game I grew up with, lots of people here have never played!!! My companion has gotten really good at it,and If I lose more than two time in a row, she gets really mad and tells me to actually try, like I am purposefully letting her win, it is pretty funny :)

I am not sure what exactly this is...

Taina and her comp REALLY like this soda

I am slowly losing my mind, the other day I was starting a prayer and I started with ¨nuestro propósito es¨instead of nuestro padre Celestial¨( our purpose is.. versus our Heavenly Father ) My companion got a pretty good laugh out of that. Other good times, the other day I found peake in my foot, and my beast of a companion Hermana Mendoza took it out like a pro (because she is from Paraguay) with a needle, and tweezers...that was a lot of fun (peake is a little bug that likes to live in people and tries to make its way to your stomach, but they make it so you itch like crazy, also if kept too long it will lay eggs..fun, right).
TAINA'S DISTRICT

Oh today, we found a soda that we love, it is from Brazil and taste really good...yup not much more to say about that...sorry. Looking forward to this week.... it will be good, I hope you are all well!!! Keep writing love you guys!

Love,
Hermana Douglas

Also for those who are wondering about the fire I mentioned last week..it was an accident. We were using the oven at a members house, and when I tried to turn off the oven I turned on the hot plate- stove top thingie...which led to the cloth she had over her stove top to catch fire...it was an adventure!

Also, Also a great quote from my amazing Brother!!!
