Conference 2015

Hey everyone!!

This week was really good!! For the first time ever... I finished a journal, yes a whole journal, every page!!!! I am so excited, this has never happened to me before! Also conference was amazing!!! Wow!!! Watch them again and again, the talks were so good!!! Also you lucky ducks that got to watch in English... jealous. It was really hard to understand, but what I did understand was amazing! Fun thing we totally forgot about the time change...opps, ironic thing was I was writing about how being a time lord would be really helpful, and then that happened... IRONY!!

(The video above is of a crazy lightning Taina wanted everyone to see)

Visited a museum, really cool, and ate pizza (the best). We had hail the other day, really weird, weather here is crazy, we also has a really crazy lightning storm the other day, which was really fun!!! The elders for conference had to leave the last session a little early to go and do a blessing, but because they left they asked if anyone else spoke after Bednar... we then proceeded to tell them that Presidente Monson talked and announced five new temples, it was really funny!!

Things here in Santani are.. ok, the ward is struggling, which is why I do not talk about it a lot, but I am loving the mission. It is one of the hardest things I have ever done, but worth it. Please pray for the Frutas and the Lopez families; it would really help. This week has been a roller coaster, I started reading the Book of Mormon again, and am aiming to finish it by December 17th, but it is really cool to read looking for insight specific for my mission and me right now!! I hope you all have an amazing week!!! Hang in there, it is already October!!!! Great Scott!!!!

(This is a video of Taina riding on the train to get to a meeting.
The doors of the train won't close all the way! Talk about a wild ride!)

Every now and then I get hooked on one song, now it is - My Story by Kaity Whitcomb it is a EFY song!!! Look it up, I love it!

Love,

Lyrics to My Story by Kaity Whitcomb:
When I was a little girl I read fairy tales and wondered if they could happen to me now I see this is my once upon a time I am a daughter of a king. And with every choice that I make I write the next page~

Chorus:
I don't know, all the twists and the turns but my journey is clear. I'm a child of infinite worth. There's a reason I'm here. I'll follow the path that's before me, this is my story.

There are days when it seems the road in front me is falling apart and I can't find my way. But I learned how to rely on the burning light that I have within me. and I find faith to move forward til I can see just where it leads.

Chorus~
Through every chapter, my father's love helps me know who I am.
Not ever after's a beautiful part of his bigger plan.
Chorus~

Oh~ This is my story~
