New Companion Adventures

Hey you guys, 

So I am doing really well and this week was amazing!!!!! I am so excited to still be in Bella Vista, yup I did not have changes so I received a new companion she is from Argentina - Hermana Fontes and we are so excited to be working together :) cool highlights of this week, we had four investigators at church and more than half of the converts went AND we hit our goal of attendance, it was soooo cool!!!! The work is moving and I am so grateful to be able to to still be in Bella Vista to see the progress!!!! I am soooo pumped!!! this week is gonna be good I can feel it :) Sorry I totally ran out of time, but I am good and promise to write more next week!!!

The Boy in the Baptism Dress

Hey guys, 

This week went well, and yes eso no mas :) 

No se, mañana vamos a saber sobre los cambios y no sabemos que va a pasar, pero estoy emocionada, va a ser bien. 

Yeah , but this week went really well, I lost my mom, she heads home this week, so today I got to spend the day with her Hermana Hall, it will be soooooo weird to be in the mission without her, really sad, but it was a good day!!!

Other stuffs, Carlos the investigator, is amazing and progressing really well, I am excited to see where he can go :) This week it rained a ton, and it was soooo fun, okay we had left the house of some members and it was just raining a little, and then the sky opened and POURED everything it had, we were the only people in the street, and there was no where to hide from this freak storm, it was crazy and we got soaked, so funny, because of the wind our umbrellas did not help, the rain would come in from the front and from above, so either way we were covered :) it was so funny and really while you may not think so, it was an experience that is will never forget!

Also another unforgettable this week, it was super gross and funny!

But I can not tel you, just not as funny online, so basics, a little boy got to wear a baptism dress during the middle of church because of a little accident... yeah crap got real :) it was so funny, and yet the little boy was very proud to be wearing that dress, and my companion told him he was like a little angel... the whole situation was just super funny and random, I never thought I would see something like that :) 

Other stuff, 

it is always fun to have people look at you and say, you are not from here are you? what gave it away??? :) I love it, and yet I feel like I have gotten a ton tanner then before the mission and yet still looking pretty pale.... que pucha 

anyhow, I hope all of you have gone back and read a little of conference, it was amazing!!!!!! and Keep reading the Book of Mormon, I know that it is true and it is here to help us get better, but only if we are willing to take the time to search them!!!!!

A Visit to the Temple

Hey guys, 

So, as I did not receive any responses to my email last week I am assuming that a huge hurricane hit the house and for that reason it was impossible to write... :) anyhow I love you guys, and hope your week went well. As for me, it was interesting, for starters we went to the temple, I love the TEMPLE!!!!!!! it is something that I have missed so much , please do not take it for granted , go and feel of the peace and love that is waiting there for you!! Hey always live worthy to be able to go inside of the temple, it will bring such blessings into your life!!!!! 

Other stuff,

I got to eat cocodrilo....it is written in Spanish cause I kinda do not know how to spell in English...sorry and it was interesting, it tasted like chicken and looked like it too, but smelt like fish... was not half bad folks :) 

Other stuff,

I hope all of you have started to read the Book of Mormon again, everyday guys, it will help us if we are constantly searching and trusting in its pages :) 

Also go back and read conference, it will not do us any good to just listen to them once, apply it :) 

Hey we had an investigator go to church, that was fun :) it rained yesterday so pretty much no one went, but it was amazing to see the dedication of those who did :)

Ron Knew What Was Up..

THREE LANGUAGES

I hope that everyone watched conference , because I sure as heck did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it was amazing, right! I loved everything, and oh my goodness, conference is always a testimony for me that we are led by Jesus Christ because His servants are called of God! Now I loved Elder Hollands talk, he is the best, you could hear under the translation in Spanish him raising his voice in the Holland fashion, I love it!!! - The great thing about the gospel is that we get credit for trying even if we do not succeed.

This week was a success :) three investigators went to church, which was amazing!!!!! I am so excited for these three, we are gonna see what happens, but I know that God is always preparing people for His missionaries. Other stuffs, We are going to go to the temple...yes and I am over the moon!!!!!! It has been such a long time, and I am so excited to be able to go :) Really if you have the opportunity to go to the temple, go and take advantage of it, not everyone can!!!!!! 

Now, as to the title of this email... here's the scene: we were walking home, it was dark and pretty hot. We were walking fast up this hill that leads to our house, lots of cobble stone, and we reach a light post and in that moment I was able to see a shadow, I thought it was a shadow, but no... it was a spider, the size of a hand just chilling and I was about to step on it... As a natural reaction I scream and jump away from it, and in this action I almost land on his buddy who was chilling near by.... they were super big :) and yea, it was fun, but the best part my companion she was like hey, they are dead I am sure of it :) so she picks up a bottle cap and throws it at this spider ...he was not dead. After that I start walking very fast up this hill, saying he is alive he is very much alive... :) good times.
