Just Keep Swimming

Hey guys! I hope you are all doing well! This last week went really well, and everything is passing by so fast. It is crazy to think that it is already February. Crazy sauce! Any who, we had a lot of things happen this week. We had divisions, and during that we got to walk down the river that was our road!It was up to our waists in water - we were pretty much swimming and it was tons of fun! Then by the end of the day crazy Paraguay decided to act like nothing happened and the sun came out and dried everything up!

A bug tried to attack us at home yesterday and that was interesting, In the end I broke his wing when I killed him, but I managed to get a picture. He is currently "living" on my desk because I didn't want to throw him away!

We met the coolest investigator ever and yesterday he came to church! It was amazing! But I do not want to jinx it like I did last time. I am doing very well and I am loving the mission journey! Keep reading the Book of Mormon! Love you guys!

In a Galaxy Far Away

Hey guys, I hope you are all doing well having wonderful lives :) This week has been quite the adventure, for starters we had changes....not just me the whole mission and I stayed in the same area de Bella Vista but with a new Hermana. She is from Peru, Lima- Hermana Cornejo :) and she is really cool! We are doing soooooooo well. Already for this past week, well on sunday we had more then 12 menos activos go to church, more than half of our conversos went to church and we had an investigator.....it was a miracle :)  Also funny -awful thing that happened. We had lunch at a lovely members house, it was really good I liked it. Then about an hour later we are walking down the road with my companion, and she asks me if I liked lunch and I was like yea it was good, did you not...and she looks at me and says, didnt you see them?? And I was like wait, see what and she starts to describe these little bugs that turn into worms once they get bigger, in food that has gone bad and turns out our food was full of it. My companion thought that I had already seen them and was just eating not to hurt the members feelings, and that was until I asked for a second plate...and my companion said, and that was when I realized you did not know that there were baby bugs and eggs of these bugs in our food.... the horror. As of right now, these baby worm bug thingies have not done anything to me...but hey, it was a fun adventure :)  other stuff this week, just fun getting to know your companion and the way they work, and I am loving it, I have never been so tired :) Also I am back on a full Spanish mind, which is soooo much fun, you never realize how much fun it is to talk a new language, until you are forced too, because your companion can not speak anyother :) Paraguay is wonderful and really hot, another lesson learned, always wear sunscreen...or you will turn into a lobster...no joke.
Anyhow, have a wonderful week, and love you guys!!!!!!

The video is of a parrot Taina met named Polly. She whistles and he says Paraguay! In the video you can hear Taina whistle and says Paraguay, then the parrot speaks and then a little boy says Paraguay. Pretty cool stuff!
